Green Apple Frings

1/2 cup pancake mix
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 green apples (no substitute)

Core and slice apples.  Mix together pancake mix, milk, cinnamon and sugar.  Dip apple slices in pancake batter then coat well with powdered sugar. Fry in a skillet of canola/vegetable oil heated to medium heat.  Once browned, flip and cook other side, then transfer to cooling rack. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
